With the Allergic to Land Charters snorkeling tours you will be able to snorkel on the beautiful coral reefs located just offshore of Islamorada. The Allergic to Land snorkeling tours are great for beginners and advanced snorkelers. Snorkel the reefs just offshore Islamorada, Florida. Islamorada has a great selection of Coral Reefs that are easily accessible from our dock located at Pelican Cove Resort and Marina. The three reefs that we take our guests to are Hens and Chickens, Cheeca Rocks, and Alligator Reef lighthouse. These reefs are excellent for beginners or experienced snorkelers of all ages. They range in depth from 5 feet to 25 feet. When arriving at the reef you might be greeted by schools of sergeant majors, yellowtail snapper and Bermuda chub. Swimming around the Brain coral, Star coral and purple sea fans you will see colorful Parrot fish, Blue tang, angelfish and spadefish. You can view many different species of fish, too numerous to name them. Other marine life that you may encounter at the reef includes spotted eagle rays, moray eels, sea turtles, spiny lobster and an occasional nurse shark. You will be amazed at the marine life just waiting for you to view at the Coral Reefs.
The weather in the Florida Keys plays a major role in the reefs that we choose to visit. You can discuss the choices of reefs to visit with the Captain, but it is ultimately up to the Captains discretion to decide which reef to explore given the conditions of the day and experience level of our customers. The Captain is very knowledgeable and will consider all factors to ensure that you have a pleasant and safe experience. Minimum recommended time for an awesome snorkel experience is 2-4 hrs.

What to Bring on The Boat
- Snorkel gear if you have it (if not we provide masks, snorkel, fins and snorkel vests for floatation)
- Sunblock (please apply before boarding the boat (spray sunblock not allowed on boat)
- Rain jacket
- Windbreaker or sweatshirt
- Polarized sunglasses
- Binoculars (for wildlife viewing)
