Islamorada Sandbar
Welcome to the World Famous Islamorada Sandbar. This is a sandy, shallow sandbar located just minutes away from our dock. Your trip to the sandbar will be relaxing and fun. It is shallow enough for you to walk around, float on a noodle,take a swim or snorkel for seashells. While relaxing at the Islamorada Sandbar it is possible to encounter a stingray or Nurse shark. Many boats anchor on the sandbar for a few minutes or an hour or two. Bring lunch, adult beverages and plenty of sunscreen. Sandbar trips are offered by the hour and can be combined with any of the various trips that are offered.
What to Bring on The Boat
- Snorkel gear if you have it (if not we provide masks, snorkel, fins and snorkel vests for floatation)
- Sunblock (please apply before boarding the boat (spray sunblock not allowed on boat)
- Towels
- Rain jacket
- Windbreaker or sweatshirt
- Polarized sunglasses
- Binoculars (for wildlife viewing)
- Cameras
- Drinks
- Snacks
